The windmill is beautifully situated next to a stunning part of the Broads. The windmill is maintained to an exceptionally high standard both inside and out. It has a number of areas outside to enjoy and the decking area overlooks an area of natural beauty to observe exciting wildlife. We saw owls, herons, hares and butterflys to name a few. This windmill is AMAZING! The house itself is perfect for exploring the broads but it is so much more than that. The attention to detail is excellent and it is the quirkiest place we have ever stayed. The rope swing in the garden provided hours of entertainment for our children and the collection of Bond DVDs were a huge hit, as was the fishing! OuRead morer neighbours, THE COWS, were very friendly. We loved staying here and being able to explore The Norfolk Broads. NOTE:Check what linen is provided. Hide

Amazing location! It was such a delight to be able to see amazing wildlife right outside and we had some fantastic bird sightings including an owl. We didn't have great weather but the windmill was very warm and comfortable and was very well equipped. The stairs and beds are not designed for tall people, but my husband managed to cope at 6'4! It waRead mores fun to hire a boat for the day. The seals at Horsey beach and the walk to Thurne were highlights. There are some fantastic farm shops close by. Hide
