Heading south, the village of Sennybridge (4.5 miles) nestles on the edge of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park and has some friendly pubs. Brecon itself (9 miles) features a cinema, leisure centre and an array of shops, pubs and restaurants.

This pretty and welcoming property can be accessed via a flight of external stone stairs. On entering, you will find yourself in the friendly, bright and stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which features characterful exposed beams set in the low sloping ceiling which also has skylights allowing the light to flood in. The attractive lounge provides an ideal space for relaxation at the end of the day. With comfortable seating, a wood burner-effect electric fire, SkyTV, DVD, CD and radio, the lounge is perfect for snuggling up together in the evening with a good book or a favourite movie. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need during your stay including an electric oven, microwave, fridge, small freezer and a washing machine. Nearby is the charming dining area which is a wonderful spot for enjoying a romantic meal for two. Exploring this lovely getaway further, you will find the delightful bedroom which features a double bed and a single bed with exposed beams in the low sloping ceiling. There is also a handy shower room complete with shower and WC.

Outside, the patio garden is perfect for enjoying a BBQ in the evening. A delightful cottage converted from a first floor granary and very spacious for two. Is immediately adjacent to a working farm in a tiny hamlet at the top of its valley - very beautiful and peaceful.
