Very enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing stay in this wonderfully scenic part of Wales. Lovely welcome from Justine who provided us with lots of information about the local area. A real pleasure to drive the uncongested local roads bordered by the impressive river Wye. Looking forward to returning to this cottage in sleepy Aberedw,

So pleased when we turned in to the property and saw it! Such a lovely spot, such a wonderful setting , was magical. The property and outside was very clean, and well maintained. A lovely situation in beautiful countryside. Comfortable and cosy, just perfect for the two of us. We had never visited the area before, and were grateful to our hostess for recommending several places to visit. The red kite feeding was well worth the visit. We were happy to just relax, but plenty of opportunities for walks.

It was a lovely cottage in a very remote location, but lacked a mirror in the bathroom and hallway. Apart from lack it was very clean and tidy with everything we needed.

We stayed at Hunters Cottage on a small family holiday and our experience was amazing from start to finish. The annex was incredibly spacious and well equipped with everything from fresh towels to guide maps and loads of local information. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook anything we needed and it truly felt like a home away from hoRead moreme. Overall, the annex was really well furnished, with beautiful and excellent quality bedding, pillows, and finishings. The private veranda was a perfect addition so we could have an evening al fresco meal together whilst our daughter slept, and the views were beautiful in every direction - you are truly in the hills and valleys of Wales! Everything was spotless and incredibly well cleaned (a great reassurance during the times of COVID). Despite the annex surpassing our every need and expectation, the absolute highlight of our trip was the lovely hosts, who took care of us from start to finish. Justine and her husband took lots of their time to show my 18-month-old daughter their wide variety of animals (they have everything from horses, sheep, and dogs to chickens and a cow plus more). They gave us a variety of great local recommendations for places to visit and eat and even gave us some delicious vegetables and fruit from their homegrown veggie garden. Overall we had an incredibly memorable family holiday made extra special by having such a special and welcoming place to stay. We will definitely be returning to stay here on our future trips to Wales, and I would highly recommend a stay for anyone looking to have a comfortable, clean, welcoming, and beautiful place to stay to explore Brecon Beacons.
