We had a really brilliant time at The Rest. Such a lovely house in beautiful surroundings and very well equipped. The property is located by a canal and there is a lovely walk to the 2 pubs in the village. There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby. The Big Pit is well worth going to.

A perfect base for exploring the area. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable. Characterful cottage, well equiped and good value for money. Not for those looking for modern glass and steel luxury but perfect for explorers!

We enjoyed our stay at this interesting cottage. It was very comfortable and it was lovely to sit and enjoy the view from the bedroom and watch the sheep. The owner, who lives next door was very helpful and promptly sorted out a minor issue. We enjoyed being able to do some good walks from the door for example, along the canal, Talybont reservoir wRead morealks etc. The cottage is well placed to easily visit places of interest in the aea. Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday. Hide

The property is generally lovely with everything we needed. However it adjoins the owner's house and their radio could be heard sometimes through the wall. There are no doors downstairs so no way to stop the noise travelling. The lights are on automatic which is OK unless you get up at night, when the lights stay on for longer than needed and cannoRead moret be turned off. Hide
