A beautiful cottage that is ideal for a romantic getaway in the idyllic Welsh village of Crickhowell. Explore the Brecon Beacons before enjoying an al fresco meal in the pretty garden

This charming property is situated down a quiet lane, less than 0.5 miles to the centre of Crickhowell. The village offers a good mix of shops, restaurants and pubs. Walking routes that take hikers up to some of the Brecon Beacons peaks such as Table Mountain are available from here. Travel 6.5 miles from the village to the town of Abergavenny, which has its own museum and castle, as well as access to plenty more walking routes. Head 11 miles to reach Llangorse Lake and the activity centre, providing opportunities to sail, kayak and fish at the lake.

A warm welcome from the owner. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation. The living room is a wonderful bright space with a glorious outlook. The planting at the entrance and in the garden made it seem a special place to be.
