We had a really great time here with 3 other families. The kids were able to play outdoors and in the stream and go for woodland walks. We were able to cook large amounts of food and all sit together in the dining rooms. Really great for the dogs too. We didn't leave the house, other than to go for walks, for the whole stay!

If you're after isolation, this is the place. Over a mile up a single track road. (get your reversing practise up to par, before you go). Loads of parking. For 12 in our group there was more than enough room. Clean and warm. Everything works fine. Mind your head on the low door though. The town close by, was handy. We had a great time.

Beautiful, spacious country cottage, full of charm. The host gave us such a warm welcome too. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The garden and surroundings were beautiful. Lovely large house with plenty of room for 19 of us and a dog. Great for a mix of ages including young children. The house was well equipped, warm, cosy and in a great location. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as were people in the local swimming pool and shops. We had a brilliant time and hope to return.

Excellent long weekend for 19 people in the cottage, which is very well equipped. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Location is remote as the name suggests "at the end of the road" which allows for on your doorstep access to the mountains. It was quite a stormy weekend, especially on the Sunday, but the cottage was very warm and cosy.
