A lovely autumn week in a lovely cottage. Cilhowey is a wonderful place to stay, set in beautiful countryside just outside Brecon so easy to get out and about in the Beacons. The cottage is extremely comfortable and cosy and the Jones family were really welcoming and helpful - perfect hosts. We will definitely be back!

A small but lovely little one bedroom cottage with a homely touch in a rural setting with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. A very quiet, scenic location perfect to unwind and relax in, bear in mind it is about 5 miles to the nearest shop. The owners are a lovely couple with lots of knowledge of the area and where to visit.

What a lovely place. The outside space was great and we spent sunny evenings at the seating area. My favourite thing was the amazingly powerful shower. The ladder steps were more manageable than I expected. The owners are very welcoming and can't do enough to help and offer activity suggestions.

A lovely quiet cottage situated next to the owners home. They are very friendly and willing to recommend places to eat and visit. The stairs are extremely steep to the bedroom and the bathroom is downstairs so bring a torch. The bed is very low and there is a beam that needs negotiating. Lovely cottage with beautiful garden if the weather is good enough! Very steep stairs, would not be suitable for those 'with difficulties'.

A very cozy cottage, perfectly located for exploring Brecon Beacons and beyond. We only stayed for a long weekend on this occasion but would definitely return for a longer stay. It is perfectly equipped for a couple, we made a good use of the wood burner as the nights were still chilly even though it was the beginning of May.
