Lovely place to stay. Owners had thought of everything you may need during your stay. The courtyard garden is a pleasure on a nice day. The pub the cottage belongs to serves lovely food and so handy after a long day out! We will be returning.

The cottage was perfectly situated next to a friendly pub with great food. It is within walking distance of the Tissington trail which passes through lots of lovely villages. It is also very close to Dovedale & the stepping stones. The cottage had everything we wanted and was clean and quaint. A perfect getaway we would highly recommend.

A very attractive cottage and very convenient to have the pub right next door. Excellent food and service. Only possible down side was the busy road - cars go very fast despite the speed limit, but as the cottage is not suitable for pets or children, probably not a major factor. Very good lighting meant you could see to read both in bed and in the Read moresitting room. Very warm. Some nice thoughtful gestures like leaving bread and milk on arrival. Very happy stay. Hide

The cottage was just like the photos, really cosy. High ceilings so no problem for my 6"3 husband. Every bit of kitchen equipment you could need including a dishwasher. Location for countryside walks & bird watching is fabulous. Loved it.

A lovely little cottage which is perfect for 2 people. Very well equipped with all the appliances you would want plus a log burner which keeps the place really warm on a chilly evening. Sadly the Coach and Horses pub was closed because of Covid restrictions during our stay but that would have been an added bonus at other times. The cottages locatioRead moren near to Ashbourne and the walking route of the Tissington Trail make this a great place to stay. Hide
