With some fabulous walks from your front door, this area is popular with walkers and cyclists. There is so much to see and do in the local area, Aira Force waterfalls are well worth a visit as is the Rheged Centre with its exhibitions, pottery, soft play, family theatre, shops and cafes. Lowther Castle is a short drive away, the castle and gardens are a sight to behold and there is a fabulous adventure playground. Sailing, paddle boarding, horse trekking are all available in the local area.
The property was renovated from the original Victorian school by the current owners, complete with bell tower to make a single storey home. There is a pretty enclosed country garden which overlooks the open fields, it is a lovely peaceful place to sit on a nice day, watch the local wildlife and if you are lucky you might see the resident red squirrel. There is ample private parking available on the private drive to the front of the property which will accommodate up to four cars.
