A superbly converted dovecote highlighting original features. Fresh scones and jam after a long journey made a lovely welcome to this immaculately clean and comfortable property in a beautiful village. We enjoyed excellent canal walks and loved the peaceful atmosphere in Gringley on the Hill.

This is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful, peaceful and very friendly village. The Dovecote has been very thoughtfully converted to a high standard with underfloor heating and quality fittings and furniture. There is a large walk-in shower in the ensuite and a very comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi too! The surrounding countryside is beautiful and weRead more can recommend the local walks shown in the guides in the cottage. The owner is very welcoming and friendly and we would come and stay again. A beautiful warm extremely well equipped cottage. Perfect for a week for two people. A very friendly welcome from the owner who has thought of everything that could be required. Homemade scones on arrival, a bottle of wine in the fridge we instantly felt at home.
