A walkers delight this converted barn has many well-waymarked footpaths from the doorstep ready for you to explore the surrounding Cheshire countryside by foot or by bike. Head into nearby Audlem which offers a host of independent shops and eateries, a mill, and church to explore. A mile outside is the Overwater marina with mooring for over 200 narrowboats and reached by foot or, at weekends and Bank Holidays, by Audlem Lass, which cruises the canal from Lock 15 to the marina. There’s a cafe there too for refreshment and lunches. A little further afield are the market towns of Chester and Shrewsbury providing charm and culture with lots to see and do.
