A unique house which was once the fish drying house, the location is dramatic and beautiful positioned right on the beach overlooking the working harbour, surrounded by cliffs, the perfect place to come to escape reality.

Lovingly restored house, with many of its original features preserved. Overlooking Cove Harbour which was constructed in 1828. This location is just fabulous and once here, you probably will not be torn away, but if you do want to venture out for the day there is plenty to see and do. The capital city of Edinburgh is just 35 miles away, with its cultural and castle to explore. There are walks from your door which take in the most beautiful coastal scenery or why not visit Pease Dean Wildlife Reserve which is a short drive away.

As you enter the house, you will find a double bedroom off the hallway, with views across the harbour and beach. Next door there is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Along the hallway, you with come to the open-plan kitchen/diner which has access out to the front garden through the French doors. There are some comfy seats next to the wood burner which offers the perfect place to curl up and read a good book while chatting to the chef in your party. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Head up the stairs to the first floor, you will find a second double bedroom and a shower room with shower and WC and a single bedroom. Both bedrooms have views over the harbour. The large spacious lounge is also on the first floor taking full advantage of the stunning sea views. It has a wood burner and TV and offers the best views of the sunset and sunrises.

There is a lawned front garden with views across the harbour and beach. With a private BBQ area to the side of the house. There is no vehicle access to the house, however, parking is unrestricted in the village car park, the track from the car park is just under a mile and you pass through the smuggler's tunnel before you exit onto the beach, where you will find the property. Do not be alarmed though as it feels like quite an adventure. Please note this property has a private water supply.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
