This delightful, stone-built holiday property enjoys a central location with interesting original features and off-road parking as a bonus in this popular coastal destination. Access all the village amenities within walking distance from the front door. Stroll down to the glorious, sandy beach to enjoy a picnic, or some family kite-flying, and enjoy a game of golf with panoramic sea views as your backdrop. Explore the coastal paths, visit Amble, Craster, Embleton and Bamburgh for amazing seafood, beaches and castles, and return to eat and drink in one of the friendly village pub, restaurants and coffee shops on the main street.

Enter through the front door into a vestibule where you can leave your coats and boots. The spacious, light and welcoming lounge is on the left with comfortable seating where you can relax in front of a roaring fire in the wood burner, catch up on some of your favourite TV programmes, or watch a DVD. There is also a useful desk to sit at with your laptop. Head into the kitchen with original stone flooring and the old feature range. You have everything you need in here to make your meals including a gas oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. You can make mealtimes memorable as the dining area is in the vaulted ceiling conservatory/summer room overlooking the church spire, with a feature gallery and lots of lovely living plants adding to the ambience, plus plenty of heating to keep you cosy in cooler months. The contemporary shower room is also on the ground floor with a spacious walk-in shower, underfloor heating and WC. Heading upstairs, you will find the master bedroom with a double bed with generous storage for your possessions, and the second bedroom is a large twin bedroom with views of the church and lovely village main street.

Outside, there is a patio table and chairs for morning coffee and off-road parking for two cars in front of the property.

Perfect location for shops, pubs, cafes and beach, useful and helpful arrival instructions. Well equipped kitchen, excellent Wi-Fi, lots of hot water and shower worked well. A lovely comfortable property which is in a great location. It had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is no full size freezer which is useful, but there is a freezer box in the fridge for ice.

A really good property in a very good location.. Good car parking off the street. The conservatory is really good. All in very good order and an enjoyable holiday. All you could wish for. Despite what some reviewers said, the church bells were no problem, about 5 minutes on Sunday morning. Also there was only one early morning delivery across the rRead moreoad, so again no problem. Very central location, in fact you could not get any more central! Sun room was lovely to sit and watch the birds and the living room was spacious. I would recommend however little things like hiding away cleaning equipment and making some remedial touching up of paint work, including removal of dumped items in the sun room mezzanine area (I would Read morehave loved to sit up there) let the cottage down. We stayed for a week in mid March and enjoyed our stay. The central location of the property was ideal, also surprisingly quiet and the off-street parking a bonus. The cottage is nicely furnished and as the weather was mixed we lit the log burner on a couple of nights to have cosy nights in and when the sun shone the glass walled dining room was peRead morerfect to linger over a coffee and enjoy the view of the church next door. Cosy lounge and great location. Parking even in winter meant a hassle free stay. Kitchen small but practical. However, there are some maintenance issues that could easily sorted. The twin beds leave a lot to be desired and personally need binning. Not being able to hang coats as they were marked by the damp wall not good. Be careful what you leave Read moreon the side when there heavy rain in the conservatory as it leaks! Reported and offered extra towels! Could be a gem. Great stay but thats Alnmouth! Hide

A comfortable residence, in a great location with all local amenities close to hand. Fantastic to be able to walk to the beach in two minutes. Good pubs and restaurants.

A very homely, cosy cottage ideally situated for everything Alnmouth has to offer. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and is literally surrounded by great places to eat. The only drawback for us was the lack of an enclosed space for our dog.

An attractive comfortable well-equipped cottage giving easy access to shops, restaurants and the beach. The parking space a real asset. Morning deliveries to hotel opposite each morning at 5am would not suit light sleepers.

This cottage is really comfortable, has everything you need for your stay, if you intend to sit and chill outside of the cottage I would recommend you take some comfortable folding chairs, the ones there aren't comfortable at all, otherwise I would highly recommend staying here, the area is beautiful

Our stay at the cottage was lovely, right in the centre for shops, pubs and tearooms, all very dog friendly. The cottage was very clean and set out welcoming on arrival, lovely sun trap in the conservatory/dinning room and a comfy lounge to relax in after a walk on the beautiful beach. Highly recommend

A cosy two bedroomed cottage on a main street in Alymouth with easy access to the beach, pubs, restaurants and 'bus service. No garden/outdoor space other than a small area in the communal drive/parking area.

Super location with parking and frequently rung Church bells. As someone who likes a m!d day nap i should have brought ear plugs and an eye mask. I recommend fellow nappers, and light sleepers, to bring both.

This cottage is in a perfect location for pottering around Alnmouth or a stroll to the beach. The conservatory has a fantastic view of the church spire, and is a wonderful bright space...we spent a lot of time in there!

We've been to the cottage a few times so are familiar with much of it. The major downside was the repeated delivery activity on or around 6.00am every day. As the cottage is located centrally you might expect some activity, however this was a major negative for us. Generally a very nice cottage. Very well equipped and in great location. Having parking is very important in Alnmouth! It is a bit tired looking inside. Needs some decoration but very clean. Nice woodburner.

The cottage was perfectly placed in the village, the dcor is tasteful and cosy. I do feel that a few improvements could be made to make the stay more comfortable, we did have cold weather and found the cottage on the chilly side, we spent a fortune on logs and the quilts could have been thicker. The kitchen was lacking in cooking dishes and equipmeRead morent and some of the pans and frying pans need replacing. Having said that, I would stay at the cottage again as I loved the location.
