With contemporary decor, picturesque village surroundings and castle ruins to admire, this detached stone-built property is a great choice for a family holiday with easy access to the coast.

The charming village of Corfe Castle sits below the much-photographed castle ruins cared for by the National Trust. The village is well serviced with local amenities and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the ancient Corfe Castle Common. Miles of footpaths are easily accessible via nearby Red Lane or take the steam train from the village station to the traditional seaside town of Swanage where you can enjoy the sandy beach and amusements on offer. The property is conveniently located near the A351 which leads to Swanage from Corfe Castle. Heading north from the property takes you to the unspoilt beaches of Studland Bay. For a fun-filled day out, visit the ever-popular Tank Museum or Monkey World ape rescue centre.

Three external steps give access to this detached stone-built property, which is conveniently set alongside the main road through the village. Once inside you are met with an open-plan kitchen/diner, which is well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Leading on from here to the right are two double bedrooms and a set of steep ladder-style stairs rising to the first floor. Set within the eaves is a cosy twin bedroom and a separate WC. Due to its location, there are some areas of restricted head height within this room. Once back on the ground floor, there is a step down into the inner hallway, which leads to the contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Completing the accommodation is a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV.

French doors open from the dining area into the rear garden. This area is set across multiple levels with a patio area, furniture and raised borders. To the side and front of the property are three off-road parking spaces.

  • 3 bedrooms – 2 double and 1 twin

Superbly equipped small barn conversion in a quaint but busy village. This property has everything youll need, including Netflix etc for the kids, to a high quality finish, and its location is a great base for the whole of the isle of Purbeck (inc a great golf course!) especially for walking on the Purbeck ridge.

What a great cottage! Lovely quality furnishings, deep pile carpets and beautifully coordinated and presented. The settees were exceptional - electrically operated foot/back rests and so comfortable! The cottage is on a busy main road but the location outweighs that, its ideal. If you have a large car, parking is fun. keep an eye on the bins, they dont get emptied that often and you wont find any details on what goes in what bin and when they are collected., we had to use the bins by the bus stop. Fabulous place. Great location. We were able to walk into Corfe and ideal for visiting Studland and Swanage. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the sitting room was cosy, with a huge TV and really comfortable leather sofas with reclining seats! Bliss! Thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous cottage, finished to a high standard with quality bed linen, brand new crockery, pots and pants. The staircase is a space saving one - no issues for our family with 2 children (6 and 7 yo). The bedrooms face the road. I slept peacefully, while my husband who is sensitive to noise needed ear plugs. So bring your earplugs if you are one of tRead morehose people. Hide
