This apartment is well equipped with a homely feel and is a great place for a family or friends to stay with super views of the harbour and across the Solway towards Scotland. Local amenities on your doorstep include the Aquarium with its Café, Crazy Golf and Children’s play area and the Wave Centre which is home to a Clip and Climb indoor climbing facility. The Maryport Maritime Museum is a short stroll away and the Senhouse Roman Museum on the edge of town is also an interesting day out. This property offers walkers easy access to the England Coastal Path (Allonby to Whitehaven section) and the nearby promenade, whilst golfers are catered for by the 18-hole course of the Maryport Golf Club which is located just a short drive away nestled on the coastline between the Solway Firth and the Cumbrian Fells. The unspoilt Solway Coast stretching east of Maryport has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) and is home to many species of wading birds making this area a popular destination for bird watchers. The bustling market town of Cockermouth and the Lake District National Park are both just a short drive away.

The apartment is situated on the first floor up a short flight of stairs. The entrance and lobby are all via the secure entrance. As you enter the property into the hallway, you will find the spacious lounge with views over the Harbour and on a clear day across to Scotland. There is comfortable seating, a Smart TV/DVD and DAB radio. It is a nice, relaxed space to spend time after a day out exploring the local area. There is a dining area in the lounge just in front of the kitchen entrance which is a great place to enjoy breakfast and plan the day ahead. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Down the hallway, you will find the bathroom which has a bath, separate shower and WC. There are two bedrooms, a bright and spacious double bedroom overlooking the harbour and a twin bedroom across the hall.

There is a private parking space in the car park for one car. There is additional street parking close to the property for any additional cars.

Immaculately clean and cosy apartment with beautiful views over the little fishing harbour and spectacular sunsets. A little gem. Great location for popping into town and as a base for exploring the coast and Lake District

A comfortable and attractive first floor flat that was extremely clean. The view over the wharf was wonderful and it was great to watch the tide and boats come in and out. The flat was quiet at night. It is conveniently placed for the facilities in Maryport. The town centre is 10 mins walk away and although Maryport is a post industrial town, it haRead mores an interesting history. The edge of the Lake District is about half an hour away. Hide

Amazing flat. Everything you could possibly want provided. Lovely location. Locals extremely friendly. Our first time staying away since covid and felt extremely safe. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Location on the harbour good for walks and the aquarium. Overall the property offers excellent value for money. Maryport town is quite run down so be prepared to travel a bit further afield for restaurants etc.
