Perfect for a relaxing get away, this characterful home is perfectly situated within the heart of Glastonbury, ideally located to explore nearby stunning countryside walks or enjoy the atmosphere of the historical town itself.

Packed with historical culture, fantastic eateries, a raft of unique shops, and more, Glastonbury town has something to offer everyone. Within minutes you can be at the base of the magnificent Glastonbury Tor, or relaxing in the gardens of Chalice Well or Glastonbury Abbey. With so much to see and do, you’ll find it hard to pull yourself away from the house and the local surrounding area, but if you can, there are many great sites to see by car. These include Clarks Designer Outlet Shopping Village, the beautiful city of Wells, Cheddar Gorge and its magnificent views and walks, Weston Super-Mare and its lovely beach, the Roman city of Bath and, perhaps the most famous of all, Stonehenge.

As you enter the property, the historic flagstone floors and handpicked, antique furniture will make you feel immediately relaxed and welcomed. On entering the first lounge area, you will be greeted by views out to the private garden, as well as two beautiful large sofas. The gas fire and TV/DVD will enable you to truly unwind or, on those warmer days, open the patio doors and enjoy the summer breeze. Walking from the first lounge area to the beautifully connected kitchen/diner, you will find a large, well-appointed kitchen, equipped for even the most accomplished cook. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast and freshly brewed coffee with the help of the Tassimo coffee machine or whip up your favourite dinner using the electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and all the key items every cook needs. Brita filtered drinking water is available via the dedicated filtered water tap and, if the weather allows, why not open the doors leading out into the private garden with additional outdoor dining space? Just off the kitchen, there is a separate utility room, complete with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a downstairs WC. Following on through the property, you'll find the second lounge area with comfy seating, TV/DVD and a wood burner; a truly beautiful spot to relax. If you’re in need of your own space, you will find a snug room, sympathetically decorated and retaining the beautiful historic walls; it is perfect for cosying up with your favourite book. As you wander upstairs via the cottage-style steep spiral staircase, you will find three bedrooms, each decorated in their own unique way. First, the master king-size bedroom: a spacious room with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC, boasting delightful views through the original stone feature window onto the spires of the Church of St John and beyond. The second king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. Finally, the third bedroom offers a king-size bed plus a day bed for lounging, or perhaps using as an additional bed if you’d prefer a twin room. Completing this floor is the bathroom with a roll-top bath with hand shower attachment, WC and views onto the private garden below.

Venture outside through the kitchen/diner doors straight into your wonderful private garden with abundant seating areas to dine outdoors or just sit and relax in. Walk up the stone steps where you will find the perfect sun trap and look out to your left and see the magnificent Tor in full view. If the weather is cooler or rainy, don’t worry; you can still enjoy the beautiful garden by investigating the Fairy House which offers a magical space for children and adults alike, complete with great views of the Tor. There is yet another summer house with exceptionally comfortable armchairs, next to the nearby pond which attracts a variety of wildlife. Next, there is also private gated parking for up to three cars which are accessed via external steps."
