Cosy and very well equipped little cottage in the heart of a lovely village with just the right amenities and services. A stones throw from the pub (but not noisy) and a short walk to several cafes, green grocer, butcher, baker and a well stocked Co-op. Well situated for exploring both Dark and White Peak areas. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was perfect for the two of us and we had a lovely stay. It was easy to park outside or very nearby and with pubs, cafes, a restaurant and food shops in the village there is no need to drive anywhere for meals out and supplies. Lovely clean, homely, comfortable cottage in a great location. It has everything you need and more. Lovely basket of local goodies on arrival which was perfect after a long drive. The little garden is great for a cuppa in the sun. Plenty of amenities in the village and walks on the doorstep. All round a great place to stay, highly recommended.

The cottage was superb, spotlessly clean, comfortable & very well equipped. The owners were friendly & generous with the goodies they left for us and the dog! Tideswell was a great location for us first time visitors to the Peak District, we enjoyed some stunningly beautiful walks locally & by the reservoirs (both found in the literature at the cotRead moretage). We also had an enjoyable day at Chatsworth House. The pubs in the village served good food & were all dog friendly. Hide

Our 2nd stay at Owl Cottage & what a fantastic few days it was. New years eve in a cosy cottage in with the log fire burning a cheeky glass or two & a home made mice pie, what more would you wish for. As before the cottage was spotlessly clean, equipped with anything you could think of & was so cosy of an evening. Tideswell is a great village, frieRead morendly & great pubs to eat & drink. I can recommend the Waggon & Horses across the road as well as the Red Lion in Linton. Will definitely be back Hide

My family & I enjoyed a great week at the lovely Owl Cottage. The cottage is in a good location, was smart, clean & tidy and so very thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need. In fact it's one of the best cottages we've stayed in. The owners were easy to contact and friendly. Would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.
