This wonderful spacious and contemporary annexe is the ideal base for a couple to explore the best of the Norfolk countryside and beautiful coastline.

Located on the edge of the traditional busy market town of North Walsham you have a choice of pubs and shops under 0.25 miles. The annexe is just a mile from North Walsham train station where you can travel on the Bittern Line to the fine city of Norwich or the quaint seaside towns of Cromer or Sheringham. For those who lust after fine sandy beaches then Mundesley, Sea Palling, Happisburgh are all within easy reach. The gateway of the Broads, Wroxham is close by and here you can hire a day boat to explore the miles upon miles of scenic waterways and fish or stop for a meal at one of many the riverside inns.

As you enter this cosy annexe you arrive into the lobby where after a busy day out exploring the coast and country you can take off those walking boots and prepare to relax. The shower room with shower and WC is off the lobby and then you head through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area really is a home away from home with its comfortable furniture including a sofa and armchair where you are best placed to watch or stream your favourite shows on the Smart TV. The dining area has enough seating for up to four guests so if you do have visitors for dinner you’re well catered for. The designated chef will have the use of an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and there is also a washing machine, convenient for throwing in walking clothes after a day out exploring. There is an office area with a desk and chair perfect to set your laptop on, which then leads through to the double bedroom which has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and another Smart TV for those who love to watch the news first thing or fall asleep to a movie.

Shared with the owners, guests have a large garden space to stretch their legs or let their dogs have a run to the rear of the property, along with a patio area with a table and chairs if you wish to soak up the sun, enjoy a drink or two or to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. There is also a garden area to the front of the house that guests are free to use. There is off-road private parking for two vehicles.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A really comfortable home from home little place with more than adequate facilities. Perfect as a base for exploring north Norfolk, which we did extensively. Lovely owners very friendly and accommodating. we will be paying a return visit.

Nice, spacious accommodation. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Although in a country setting we were in close proximity to the town and in easy reach of local attractions. Plenty of walks from the door.

Tina and Chris were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The annexe was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend this property as a relaxing place to stay and very convenient to visit places of interest.

Lovely property in a rural setting with nice garden. The owners Tina and Chris very welcoming and helpful. Local supermarkets Sainsburys and Waitrose well stocked and easy to find. We enjoyed exploring the area and the Norfolk Broads in particular. We recommend Acorn Annexe.

Home from home., very clean. Little touches , milk in the fridge for a cuppa after the journey, and a bottle of wine for later! Loved being able to sit and enjoy the lovely garden. Tina and husband could not do enough.

The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is beautifully presented with great attention to detail. Its very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Just had 7 nights at Acorn Annex, location is pretty good, its on the outskirts of North Walsham. Its around less than a mile to walk into the town centre, just over a mile to the train station, which we did one day then took the train to Norwich. Very dog friendly with fenced lawn to have a run round, a few places to walk the dog out of the front Read moredoor. Hide

This property is perfect for two people looking for a location which is away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but coast and countryside are easily accessible. This property is not just dog friendly, it is dogs very welcome and well equipped for dogs too. The garden is so full of nature with two green woodpeckers and two greater spotted woodpeckers, at the same time, to name just a couple of visitors. .

Very comfortable, fully equipped in a very quiet and peaceful area. Beautiful garden with large lawn, and nice patio which we took full advantage of in the hot sunny week we spent there. Chris and Tina made us very welcome, and are superb hosts for this lovely accommodation.

Had a lovely holiday! There were lots of pamphlets in the accommodation about the local area and things to do. Very clean and well presented property, perfectly situated to reach all areas like wells . The owners chris and tina couldnt do enough for us and made us feel at home and welcome.
