Perfectly situated by the family-friendly sandy beach at Woolacombe which is just a 0.3-mile stroll away, and with the famous beaches of Croyde and Saunton within easy reach by car, you'll have plenty of surfing and walking opportunites. Speaking of which, walkers will be in their element with access to the South West Coast Path, offering spectacular views and some of the finest walks in the country, whilst nearby access to The Tarka Trail offers fantastic options for off-road walking and cycling. Other attractions and places of interest include Exmoor National Park (13 miles), day trips to Lundy Island (22 miles to Bideford), National Trust Arlington Court (14 miles), the quaint coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth (21 miles), or you could enjoy a day with the animals at Combe Martin Wildlife Park (12 miles).

Head inside this characterful property and due to the reverse level layout venture up the stairs and onto the first floor where you will find the beautifully light living space. This fabulously sociable open-plan lounge area boasts a stunning vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, plus comfortable seating arranged around the TV. Here you can kick back and relax after a busy day exploring the sands, and a lovely dining area provides the perfect venue for laid back meals. Also perfectly appointed is the kitchen area which sits alongside and offers an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Completing the offering on this floor is the first of the pretty bedrooms, a beautifully decorated king room, and located beside a first floor WC. Heading back down the stairs and onto the ground floor you will then find the second bedroom, a cosy twin room with two single beds. A bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC is handily located next to the bedroom, plus there is also an undeniably useful utility cupboard with a washer/dryer provided.

There is no outside space at the property however it is just a short stroll to the stunning beach and public outdoor spaces. There is roadside parking available nearby but seasonal restrictions apply. Additional parking is available in the public carpark 0.2 miles away.

Really sweet accommodation, right in the heart of Woolacombe. Comfy bed, nicely decorated upstairs and lovely kitchen/living room area. Perfect for the beach, and close to nearby Ilfracombe.

Lovely cottage. Fantastic location for shops, bars and restaurants. Perfect place to stay if you love the beach, its just a short walk down the road. Well equipped for a weeks stay. Comfortable cosy place to relax after a day at the beach.

Thank you to Nora and family, we had a fabulous week at the Hayloft. The central location is perfect for beach days and days out exploring North Devon. The accommodation is brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with everything you need a short walk away. We hope to return again soon.

What a great location! To be within walking distance of the beach was a real blessing, and avoided us getting in the car most days. Woolacombe is a lovely, charming seaside community, and a real jewel in North Devon. The owners have put pretty much anything you can need in the kitchen.
