Found in an unspoiled woodland area of Devon just south of the charming historic market town of South Molton, this beautiful lodge is ideally placed for those looking for a rural escape with family and those with dogs. It is conveniently located to explore the dramatic coastline and some of North Devon’s finest beaches, including Westward Ho!, Saunton, Woolacombe, Instow and Croyde for surfers and swimmers alike. Or if you are a walker or cyclist, the Tarka Trail, Exmoor National Park and nearby routes through the surrounding countryside make a perfect adventure in any season. Other attractions in the area include Quince Honey Farm with its all-weather indoor play area, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, National Trust properties and gardens, Dartington Crystal, golf courses and an array of lovely villages with quiet pubs.
Step inside this wonderful lodge and you will be greeted with a cream tea after your journey. Through the door you will find yourself in a hall which is a perfect place to hang coats and store muddy boots after a countryside walk. From here head into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This light and airy room has a contemporary feel with its beautiful styling and boasts a flame-effect electric fire, Smart TV, comfortable sofas for all guests and a dining table seating four. Patio doors open from the lounge area, perfect for the warmer months and extending the living space out on to the decked terrace area. The well-appointed kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need on your break away, there is an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Moving through the lodge you will find two wonderful bedrooms, the first being a double room complete with an en-suite shower and WC. The second is a cosy twin bedroom, and both have a TV for those lazy mornings in bed. The main bathroom features a shower over the bath and a WC.
Moving outside, the enclosed decked terrace area makes a great spot to relax after a day of exploring the North Devon attractions. Here you will find a table and chairs to enjoy some al fresco dining with far-reaching views, and for those looking to really relax, there is also a sunken hot tub to enjoy a luxurious evening under the stars. Allocated parking for one car is also provided just outside the lodge. There is also extra parking in the on-site parking area on the other side of the road, so a second car could be parked there.
