Positioned on over 100 acres of land at the end of a private lane, the property is surrounded by the owners’ garden with plenty of walks from your doorstep. This is a tranquil setting yet only 1.5 miles away there is a pub and shop. The harbour towns of Mevagissey, Charlestown and Fowey are within 15 miles and are lovely places to wander narrow streets, watching the fishing boats come in and try one of the harbour-side restaurants. Take a 12-mile trip to the cathedral city of Truro where you can enjoy an abundance of shops and restaurants. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are also 6 miles, while the Eden Project is 10 miles.

Step inside this period property into the hallway, where there’s space to hang up your coats. Cosy up in the lounge and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player, in front of the flame effect electric stove after a day exploring. Head through to the country-style kitchen/diner, which really is a great social space for all the family. Excellent in every way. The hosts were delightful, welcoming and so helpful. We were so appreciative of the fresh milk and sweets on our arrival, left by the hosts.

A lovely spacious farmhouse in a beautiful setting. There is everything you need for a relaxing, peaceful break. Mary and Keith are impeccable hosts who do everything possible to make your holiday go smoothly.

The house was great, perfect for a family with a dog and a couple of cars, and well placed to visit all of the south west. It had everything we needed and more, from a walled front garden with a barbecue, to fishing and crab nets for a visit to the harbor in Charles town or Mevagissey, both just a short drive away.

The cottage is lovely; it was a perfect base for our holiday with space and facilities to cater for all 6 of us - having 2 good showers was especially appreciated after a long day at the beach. We had a lovely time at Bay tree farmhouse. The house was perfect size for a large family and a dog, and there was plenty of space to move around and have time apart when needed. A really comfortable and well presented farmhouse in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. Just a short drive from the beautiful beaches of the Roseland peninsula and only a little further to the north coast. Our grandchildren loved exploring the area. Some lovely walks along very quiet country lanes and lovely countryside.

A really lovely house set in gorgeous grounds. Hosts were super welcoming and when we had minor issues / questions were helpful and prompt responding. House is well equipped. The kids loved the badminton set! Good location to explore Cornwall with good range of activities within an easy drive to appeal to all ages. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely granite Cornish farmhouse - very comfortable with nice large, high-ceilinged rooms. Excellent facilities - we even conquered using the 'Aga-type' range after an excellent lesson from Mary our hostess. Lovely located cottage and gardens, ideal stay for visiting the south of Cornwall. The cottage was comfortable, beautiful peaceful gardens, well equipped and we loved that Merlin the dog was well thought of, dog towels, treats, ball and even a dog bed, though he was too big for it!
