We had a lovely six days staying at Harebeck Cottage. Very cosy cottage, and always warm even with two winter storms coming through during our stay. Catherine was very welcoming and friendly. However, the water was always piping hot. We would be very happy to stay here again. Hide

Harebeck cottage was absolutely lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay so much. The location provided easy access to the Wast Water area and was quiet, away from the normal Windermere traffic. We had a very comfortable stay at Harebeck Cottage, a home from home feel. Very well equipped. Welcoming owners. Family oriented. Was great reconnecting with agricultural and conservational life. The cottage is lovely and well placed to tour the coast from Whitehaven to Haverigg. The Aga keeps the place nice and cosy and the cottage had everything we needed. We had a great week. The only caution is that the stairs are VERY steep and in my opinion not suitable for young children or the elderly. We had great holiday thank you
