A delightful cottage, very well located for the many sights of the local area, dog-walks and other excursions. The accommodation was excellent, warm and comfortable whilst lacking nothing in the way of amenities, fittings and equipment. Very much to be recommended and I would hope to stay here again, when next I visit Hexhamshire.

Beautiful stone cottage tucked away in fabulous picturesque countryside. From the outside it looks small but in fact there is plenty of room. Had a lovely relaxed stay at Jack of the Woods. Cottage was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. Ideally situated for local exploring with several options for lovely scenic walks. Highly recommend checking out Dipton burn, and the walk into Hexham was quiet and charming when taking the cross country footpath option. Dipton mill Inn is a 15miRead moren walk away, and is a lovely charming traditional pub with great beer and local food. We'll definitely be booking to stay again. Hide
