The entrance hallway at the property leads to a cosy lounge, with a wood burner, TV and plenty of board games to keep everyone entertained. Through to the galley-style kitchen, which is bright and contains an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a small table that is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a quick breakfast. There is a conservatory that leads on from the kitchen which has a dining table for six guests and is a lovely place to spend evenings watching the sunset. Also on the ground floor is a spacious king-size bedroom that is located at the front of the cottage and decorated with lovely pieces of art. The bathroom has a hand-held shower over the bath, a separate shower, WC and double vanity. Upstairs on the first floor are two further bedrooms – a king-size with en-suite bathroom with hand-held shower over bath and WC, and a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request).

The garden is completely enclosed and has a grassy area to the rear and side of the property, with garden furniture that let you sit and soak up the sun on a nice day. The gravel driveway at the front of the cottage has ample parking for up to three cars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Top Cottage. The property is well maintained and presented both inside and out, and made for a comfortable and relaxing base for us during our trip. A lovely house, so comfortable and nice and private. Great to see wildlife in the garden. We had fabulous weather, warm and mainly dry. The only thing that would make it perfect would be perhaps a hot tub for when the weather not so good.
