You can visit the Castle Jail with its views over the surrounding countryside, or Queen Mary’s House and museum, or play golf at several local courses. Anglers can enjoy a spot of fishing on the famous Teviot or Tweed rivers close by that have good grayling, salmon and trout beats available by the day. We had a lovely week at this cottage and were lucky to get decent weather. The property is very well equipped, clean and the bed was very comfy. We received plenty of information from the owner beforehand and they responded to messages whilst we were there promptly. The neighbours we spoke to were all very friendly and helpful. Definitely need a caRead morer, but it's not far out of Jedburgh and Kelso is about a 15 min drive. Hide

We had a lovely stay - Viki and Peter were great hosts, from the initial communications, directions, and suggestions of places to go, to even what we wanted in the welcome pack (which, by the way, was excellent). The cottage is lovely, quiet, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The location is perfect for touring the borders - lots to do and Read moresee. A beautifully appointed cottage in a very quiet location, ideally located for visiting the nearby towns apart from Jedburgh (Kelso, Melrose, Galashiels, other attractions).
