Its twin spa-town, Buxton, is a short drive and offers a lively arts scene, including the opera house. Ashford-in-the-Water is nearby, offering country pubs and a village shop. Elsewhere are the historical villages of Eyam with its fascinating past and Foolow with its village green and duck pond, just a short drive away.

Take the second flight of stairs to the second floor which boasts a vaulted ceiling offering lots of space and light, and a king-size bedroom with a smart TV and en-suite shower with WC.
Outside there is a rear courtyard with a table and chairs, a pleasant spot to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. Please note this does provide walkway access for next-door neighbours. There is handy bike storage for those who intend on exploring the hills on two wheels. There is also roadside parking, subject to availability.
