This three-storey townhouse in the Old Town of Scarborough comes with fabulous sea views. It’s perfect for friends and families wanting a sociable setting with plenty on the doorstep.

This gorgeous property in Scarborough's Old Town occupies an elevated and enviable position with stunning sea views. Make the most of this idyllic location, just a short walk from the seafront. A trip to Scarborough would not be complete without a relaxing stroll along South Bay Beach, stopping for tasty fish and chips from the local takeaway. Scarborough is a lively town bursting with activities for all ages, including Scarborough Castle which overlooks the town from its stunning coastal setting, with sheer drops down to the sea. See some of your favourite artists and bands at the imposing Scarborough Open Air Theatre, then go wining and dining in some of the finest restaurants and bars in the area.

As you enter this stylish and characterful three-storey house, which has been decorated beautifully, you arrive in the hallway, where you can hang your coat and leave your shoes. Pass the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and take the stairs up to the first floor. You’ll reach the smart, contemporary kitchen, which has a gas AGA, induction hob, double electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. This is a very elegant place to prepare your favourite meals. Head into the lounge, which enjoys glistening sea views, and cosy up on one of the sofas, opening up the media cupboard to watch a film on the large Smart TV or listen to some music. Take your drink out to the small south-facing balcony to enjoy the evening sun and views of the bay. This floor also features a very useful larder with a large fridge and freezer, and a separate WC. When it's time to turn in, head upstairs to the second floor and choose from one of three bedrooms. The grand master bedroom suite has sea views, a four-poster king-size bed, wardrobe, Smart TV and USB sockets, with every detail down to the lighting having been carefully designed to give you a boutique hotel experience. The 4ft double bedroom features a built-in bed and space to hang your things, while the twin room also has four-poster beds (single). The bathroom is no exception to the charming quality, with a traditional roll-top bath, walk-in shower and WC.

When the sun is shining, head back downstairs to the rear garden, which backs onto the Castle walls. It's a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee or light up a BBQ and dine alfresco. There is off-street parking on the drive and a medium-sized car can park in the garage.

What a beautiful house! We had a glorious week swimming in the sea (we even saw a seal!) and visiting Scarborough! It was so lovely to have a holiday where it wasnt necessary to use a car!

Cottage was amazing in all aspects. Cleanliness, access to the beach and restaurants. Can at fault it. Spoke to the holiday makers in the Crab and they were just as impressed.

We had a superb holiday staying at this property. It was immaculate when we arrived and the owners responded immediately when we had a couple of queries. Its in a great situation for walking to beaches, cafes and shops, also perfect for walking our dog with a great area just behind the property next to the castle. Great property, great location and excellent facilities. The view of the sea from the lounge and front bedrooms is fantastic especially when using the balcony to unwind after a busy day..
