Welcome to this traditional south-facing cottage, enjoying splendid views across open countryside towards the distant Ochil hills. Located in an idyllic position on a wonderful 120-acre private estate, there are beautiful grounds and woodland to explore. The picture-postcard town of Crieff is close at hand, boasting a great range of eateries, friendly inns and independent shops. The city of Perth is also within easy reach with its excellent leisure and shopping facilities. Explore the magnificent Brankln and Drummond Castle Gardens. Take a tour of Glenturret, the oldest distillery in Scotland, enjoy a day out at Perth races or visit the splendid Scone Palace. Golfers are spoilt for choice with numerous courses close by, including the legendary Gleneagles or enjoy seasonal boating and fishing on the River Tay. Health spas and other activities are available at both Gleneagles and the nearby Crieff Hydro.

 Step inside this charming period cottage and leave your outdoor clothing in the hall before entering the light and bright dining room, with its characterful range, where you can enjoy romantic meals. Next is the kitchen, the ideal place to cook up a storm with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Completing the ground floor is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Heading up the stairs you are met with the delightful lounge. Relax on the comfortable sofa after a day out exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoying a great movie on the TV or a cosy night in front of the roaring wood burner. Finally, completing this charming accommodation is the pretty king-size bedroom with ample storage space and beautiful views.

Venturing outside there is a seating area and charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining or lazy evenings stargazing, located directly next to the cottage. There is also a spacious garden nearby. Guests are welcome to explore the estate's grounds and woodland through the established tracks, discovering the Ice House or ancient Witches’ Bridge. Help feed the chickens and collect eggs or even meet the resident tortoise, Tortoo! Discover abundant birds and other wildlife nearby including roe deer, hares and the occasional red squirrel.

We had a lovely week in this cottage. The location is perfect as you're in a very tranquil area but within a few minutes drive to Crieff - which catered for all of our needs. A very comfortable cottage and we really enjoyed our second stay there. We slept really well partly to do with the supremely comfortable bed. Really lovely stay in a beautiful character property with a helpful and attentive owner. If your idea of heaven is waking up surrounded by sheep and later dozing off In front of the fire then this is a perfect find. Our holiday in Coachman's cottage was absolutely lovely. Beautiful views and plenty of places to walk our dog (although on lead because of sheep and farm animals). The cottage layout is unusual - lounge upstairs and four steps up from there to the bedroom. The cottage was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Cottage as described, lovely furnishings and period character, the estate offers both space and privacy. Extremely comfortable bed, and no light pollution at night a big plus. It is a very green and quiet place to unwind, and an excellent base for exploring the area. The free range hens are very friendly!

The Coachman's Cottage is just most elegant and quaint place to stay . The cottage is beautifully furnished , so warm and inviting . Lovely location for a quiet break. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The unusual layout took some getting used to, but overall we really enjoyed our stay at Coachmans cottage, especially the bed, which was incredibly comfortable. The nearby town of Crieff has some lovely walks along the river and plenty of dog friendly places to eat and drink.

Lovely cottage with potential. No enclosed garden/patio. Attention to detail could be given, grass cut and furniture ready for guests arriving. More equipment in kitchen including fire extinguisher. Nice area.

We had a lovely week at coachmans cottage. Large one bedroom property. With all the home comforts you need, dishwasher being a positive. Cottage set in peaceful countryside allowing a relaxing rest with plenty fresh air and dog walks. Only a short drive to restaurants, shops. and cafes .

We had an excellent holiday. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with beautiful artwork and furnishings. It is in a peaceful and quiet location in the grounds of a small estate containing the main house and another cottage. Crieff is only ten minutes away by car for all services and facilities. We had a throughly enjoyable week; it was a perfect cottage with everything you could need to cooking and relaxing. A lovely remote location but not too far from anywhere to get the essentials. Lots to do in the local area, perfect for our relaxing week away.

Perfectly quiet and very comfortable cottage. It is homely and has everything you need. The heating is more than adequate including a wood burning stove. A well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer and modern oven. Other nice features are the very high speed broadband, smart TV and a well-stocked library. What a lovely quiet and comfortable cottage to stay in. We litetally heard nothing outside for the 5 nights we were there. Perfect for us. Our host was very friendly and helpful. She came within 15 minutes when we had a minor issue. The area around Crieff is great for dog walking. Lots of well marked walks that are safe to let your dog off. We had a lovely relaxing and luxurious stay- very comfortable bed with gorgeous linens, very comfy settee too plus loads of room generally to spread out in. Its quite a flat area of Scotland though so be aware if you are looking for a mountain view go further into the Cairngorms!

Great location, very rural and peaceful, but Crieff town nearby with its shops, cafes, restaurants, take-aways and pubs. Very spacious cottage for just two people. Well stocked kitchen equipment-wise. Comfortable bed.
