A real escape to the country, this charming property is set within a working farm in verdant North Dorset. Ideally placed for walking, touring or simply settling down beside the wood burner.

Located on a working farm close to Bulbarrow Hill, the property is within the picturesque Blackmore Vale, an ideal base for those wishing to walk or cycle. Essential supplies can be found in the nearby village of Hazelbury Bryan where there is a shop and pub, or head to the riverside towns of Blandford and Sturminster Newton for a wider selection of amenities. Lovers of history will enjoy a visit to the village of Milton Abbas, or Cerne Abbas, where you can see the famous chalk giant carved into the hillside. Further south is the stunning Jurassic Coast, with many popular sites including Lulworth Cove, Abbotsbury and Ringstead Bay being accessible by car.

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our visit to Dorset. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a super sized bed. It was really lovely to arrive to a beautiful homemade cake and chilled bottle of wine. We would highly recommend staying here it was lovely and quiet and a great place to unwind and relax.
