Nestled in the heart of rural Cornwall and easily accessible, this barn is a perfectly placed bolthole to explore the Cornish coast and countryside.

Built in 1625, this old stable which was originally used as cart storage on a 40-acre farm has a lot of history and is a special property. Located on the edge of Tregadillett village, the property is situated next to the owner’s residence and within walking distance to the local pub. The closest town with all the amenities one could ask for is Launceston at 2.5 miles with its historic castle, Trebarwith Strand beach can be found under half an hour away or venture to the stunning Crackington Haven beach both on the north coast 18 miles away. Nearby attractions include Tintagel Castle (17 miles) and the rugged north Cornwall coastline along the South West Coast Path. Adrenalin Quarry, Eden Project, Siblyback Segway, The Hidden Valley, and Cardinham Woods are all within 30 miles.

Although it is steeped in its rural past, it is also equipped with many modern comforts throughout. Step inside into a light and welcoming entrance hall. With vaulted ceilings throughout, relax in the open-plan kitchen/lounge. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, under counter fridge, dolce gusto coffee machine, washing machine and microwave so create a lazy breakfast for two. The lounge area has a comfy sofa and a heated massage chair, grab a blanket and cosy up in front of the wood burner, and watch one of your favourite films on the Smart TV. From here, the sunroom has a dining table perfect for a romantic meal. Enjoy your tranquil surroundings and read a book in one of the two armchairs. The bedroom has a four-poster double bed and freestanding small roll top bath with shower attachment. The en-suite shower room has a rainfall shower, Bluetooth mirror to connect your smartphone and WC.

Cracky Hill Cottage is a really comfortable home from home that nothing. We particularly loved the cosy conservatory. Spent many an hour there, before and after we left our daily excursions! The cottage had all the mod cons, and some quirky ones that were a treat. The outside seating area is nice and private with lovely flowers to enjoy.
