Set within 70 acres of land on a non working farm, this property is surrounded by the beautiful countryside. This is an ideal base from which to explore the nearby coastlines, which include the Jurassic coast, Exmouth and the English Riviera, all within easy reach and offering a different slice of life beside the sea. Keen walkers should take to nearby Dartmoor National Park, rich in flora and fauna, while wonderful family days out can be enjoyed at Crealy Adventure Park, The Donkey Sanctuary and Seaton Electric Tramway. For a night out, head to nearby Exeter to explore its many restaurants, bars, shops and cafes.

Inside, the accommodation is fresh and bright with wooden floors and exposed beams throughout. The large kitchen contains an electric oven, Nescafe Dolce gusto coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave. Once prepared, enjoy meals at the farmhouse table in the lounge/diner before retreating to one of the comfortable sofas for an evening in front of the Smart TV/DVD, here you will also find a Bluetooth speaker for your entertainment. There are three bedrooms, one king and two singles, each decorated in a fresh and clean style with TVs for those lazy holiday mornings. The bedrooms share a bathroom with shower over bath and separate WC. Watch your head, there is a sloping roof in the bathroom.

Enjoy al fresco meals at the garden table and chairs in the private enclosed patio area or relax with a picnic on the grass in the field beyond. There is a play area for small children just across the yard and ride on tractors and a go kart for children too. A wonderful covered area has tables and chairs for playing games outside or just enjoying watching the children play.

Peaceful location which suited us down to the ground. Managed to find everything we needed. Parked the car at Exmouth one day and caught the train to Paignton and then the steam train to Kingswear a must for any train buff. Stuart Line up and down the estuary is a fun way of spending a couple of hours. Although on a map it looks in the middle of noRead morewhere it isn't we managed to do lots in our week, great location for heading out and exploring. Hide

Lovely barn in a great location to get to loads of different places for fun whatever the weather. The property was clean and tidy and had everything we needed as a family with two young children. We were all comfortable and the blackout blinds in the kids rooms were brilliant. The building is quite close to some more industrial looking farm buildinRead moregs/butchery but there was no noise disturbing us at all. Really pleased with our stay! Hide

this our 2nd time at this lovely cottage. We love the simple but comfortable furnishings, and the cottage is well equipped and very clean and tidy. It is a great base for visiting this area of Devon. We hope to be back again

What a lovely cottage. Would definitely stay here again. Lovely and secluded location, we had such a peaceful stay. The cottage itself is really well equipped, and everything in it is of high quality.

this was a lovely cottage in a great location not far from the routes to all the places we wanted to see, we would consider staying here again.
