Spurn Point is known as Yorkshire's very own Lands End, an iconic and constantly moving peninsula that curves between the North Sea and the Humber Estuary. At over 3 miles long but as little as 50 metres wide, this landscape is unique and ever-changing. The nearby discovery centre offer guided walks, bird tours, wildlife safaris, military safaris, and entrance to the lighthouse at discounted rates for guests. It is an important wildlife haven for migrant birds, lizards, roe deer, and numerous species of insects. Fossil hunting is popular with an abundance of fossils to be found amongst the pebbles on the beach. One of the UK’s top migration watchpoints, spring and autumn are great for birdwatchers, with bracing walks and panoramic sea views guaranteed all year round.
The first-floor accommodation is accessed via a flight of stairs which leads to a lounge/diner with comfy seating surrounding the Smart TV/DVD and drop leaf dining table. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal during your stay including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms to choose from, a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a 3ft twin on request) offering lovely field views, and a double bedroom. Completing the property is the bathroom which offers a shower over the bath and WC.
Outside there is a patio area with seating. There is a washing machine located in the outbuilding. Foldable chairs are provided and it's recommended to make the short 1-mile walk to the beach during your break. Ample off-road parking available. Please note this apartment is located over an office which may be manned during office hours
