A fabulous two-bedroom property set within the grounds of the owners' farm, perfect for a countryside break with family or friends.

Discover this beautiful countryside retreat located close to the Mid Devon village of Templeton. Here, you are perfectly located to explore the gorgeous county of Devon and you can have the best of both worlds with its stunning coastline and dramatic moorland, leaving you spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring. There are beautiful walks locally, or on Dartmoor, Exmoor or along the South West Coast Path overlooking the stunning Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis or the kids favourite, fossil hunting at Charmouth beach. Wimbleball Lake is 17 miles away and offers a range of sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding and pretty walking trails.  If you want to visit the beach, Exmouth, Sidmouth and Branscombe are well worth a visit for a swim or dog walk. Closer to home, the town of Tiverton boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a horse drawn barge or visit The National Trust properties in the area including Killerton and Knightshayes. Exeter ( 18 miles ) offers bespoke shops, eateries and the lovely Cathedral, cycle and kayak hire to explore the paths and estuaries. Crealy  Adventure Park, Haldon Forest for biking trails and Go Ape - swinging high in the tree's, make for a super day of memories.

Step inside this wonderful property to find yourself in the ground-floor hallway which leads to both of the bedrooms. The first bedroom faces the front and features twin beds with a smart TV. The twin bedroom has a lovely en-suite shower room comprising of a walk-in shower cubicle and WC. To the back of the property is the second bedroom which features a four-poster king-size bed. This bedroom also benefits from an en-suite shower room with a shower cubicle and WC, and has access to the garden to open up the space for some fresh, countryside air. Moving upstairs, you will find the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, a light and spacious area complete with rural views. The living room has comfortable seating for all guests and makes the perfect spot to put your feet up after a day of walking, in front of the Smart TV. The dining space is conveniently located next to the kitchen making it a great place for a homecooked meal. The well-equipped kitchen comprises an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, and dishwasher. There is also a useful utility room that houses a washing machine and has an additional sink and WC.

Moving outside, there is an enclosed garden to the rear of the property which is a great space to soak up some sun or allow your dogs to stretch their legs. There is allocated parking in front of the property for two cars.

Lovely cottage and amenities, comfy beds, lots of hot water for showers, beautiful outlook from garden and very quiet and lots of wildlife to watch. Beautiful starry night skies a bonus. What a great find. Very quiet location, well equipped and comfortable house. Took the dog a little time to get used to upstairs being downstairs (and us) which gave us a giggle, and we really liked it as the view from the living area is beautiful. Lovely to have ensuite to both bedrooms and a loo upstairs. Wonderful area, which we have been coming Read moreto for years. As others have said, the lemon drizzle cake was yummy and our host Matthew couldn't have been more hospitable. Hide

A very well designed barn conversion with good separation of living and sleeping areas. Comfortable and well equipped with nice views over the countryside. Peaceful and quiet, a perfect spot for a nice break from the hustle and bustle of life. Matthew was always obliging and helpful in small matters.

Would highly recommend this property, especially if you want a quiet away from it all peaceful break. Host were very friendly and even provided tea, coffee and delicious lemon drizzle cake on arrival. Very clean and well equipped barn and a very safe place to take your dog. Would definitely go back again, loved it!

A beautiful property with great facilities and views. We were made very welcome with a freshly baked cake, milk , tea etc left for us. Definitely would come again.

Fabulous, spacious and well equipped barn conversion in a great location for exploring Devon and the South West. Immaculately clean and comfortable throughout. So peaceful and relaxing on the farm with great views. A much appreciated welcome pack was provided and the owner made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

This is a fantastic property. Immaculately clean, well presented, comfortable and really spacious. The clever layout took advantage of the glorious views. The 2 bathrooms were really appreciated with 2 teenagers in tow! The lemon drizzle cake was very tasty and very welcome after the journey. Thankyou Matthew, you have made a lovely place here.

Fantastic barn conversion. Underfloor heating for chilly evenings and its an upside down house with glorious views from the lounge. A really quiet location. Beds were very comfortable and towels soft and fluffy. The showers were great too. Both bedrooms en suite, ideal for us.
