This immaculate coastal property is located in the pretty seaside town of Watchet and is within a few minutes' walk from the marina, shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Located in the small ancient seaside town of Watchet and within a very short walk of the town’s pretty marina, harbour and range of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops, and weekly summer market, or visit East Quay with its galleries and studios just a short stroll away. There are rock pooling and fossil hunting beaches on either side of the harbour, and pebble beaches at Blue Anchor and Dunster just a couple of miles away. Step back in time and aboard a steam train on the West Somerset Railway, that takes you through the beautiful Somerset countryside. The coastal town of Minehead, with its sandy beaches, and the attractive village of Porlock are also nearby. There are plenty of attractions to keep the whole family entertained, including Tropiquaria Zoo, Dunster Castle, Doniford Farm, sea fishing trips and Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre. Keen walkers will enjoy exploring Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills.

Cruckton provides a great base, too, during the autumn and winter months, for hiking through beautiful landscapes, and along, sometimes bracing coastlines; joining in special themed events on the West Somerset railway (check their website for details and dates), Dunster by Candlelight and local Christmas markets; exploring the night skies from the internationally recognised Exmoor Dark Sky Reserve; and a lovely warm cosy cottage to return to when it's time to relax, rest, read, enjoy some indoor games, review the day, or plan the next.

On entering this beautiful three-storey townhouse, you will find yourself in the hall. Immediately on the left is the light and welcoming kitchen/diner here you will find a charming dining area where you can enjoy mealtimes together. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. Exploring the ground floor further you will find the bright and attractive lounge, which is an ideal space to relax in and enjoy those cosy nights in, with comfortable seating, electric wood burner effect fire, Smart TV and french doors opening into the courtyard garden. Completing the ground floor is a useful WC. Heading up to the first floor, you will find a twin bedroom with views towards the Harbour and coast of South Wales. The second bedroom is a comfy bunk bedroom and enjoys views towards Watchet Steam Railway Station on the West Somerset Steam Railway Line. There is also a bathroom on the first floor with a shower over the bath and a WC. Heading up to the second floor you will find a spacious double bedroom. Here you will find a TV with Chromecast and a DVD and an en-suite shower room complete with shower and WC.

Stepping outside, you can relax at the end of a fantastic day and maybe dine alfresco in the enclosed courtyard garden with outside rattan furniture and a BBQ. Allocated parking is available for two cars and there is a neighbouring public car park for additional cars.

Great location for visiting Watchet, a few steps from the harbour and steam railway. Lovely little cottage but just big enough for 3-4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Would be a bit crowded for 6 people. Safe parking for 2 cars.

Nice property in the lovely little town of Watchet. The property itself is well equipped clean and comfortable. There was 4 of us so we had plenty of room, however, 6 would be a bit of a squeeze. Cruckton proved a hit, especially for the daughter who loved having the 'mini' balcony in the twin room on the middle level.
