Music lovers will appreciate the events hosted by many of the smaller villages throughout the summer months. There's also the famous Hay on Wye festival and Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Step through the wooden gate , down 8 steps across the courtyard to the entrance of the cottage, which was formerly the hub of the village - the local store. Step inside where you can leave your boots and coats behind. The kitchen/diner has a contemporary twist with a window onto the quaint courtyard. The kitchen area is well-equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine, there is a small table and chairs for dining if you chose to eat in. The lounge provides the perfect space for relaxing after a day of exploring, the simple colours are enhanced with the original exposed stone, there is a TV and DVD. When the day is done climb the cottage-style staircase where you will find a double room with views across to the church along with a bunk bedroom. There is a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.
