We had an extremely comfortable stay at Lilac cottage and enjoyed the quiet location, especially the very pretty garden viewed from the sitting room and kitchen. It is very well equipped and the owner goes above and beyond with the generous welcome pack. The location offers very easy access to all cafes and restaurants in town, and we had no troublRead moree getting through the arch into the parking place. Cant wait to return. Hide

Lovely cottage with all that you need only a stones throw from Morpeth high street yet quiet and peaceful. The Graze box & Prosecco a nice touch.

Weve just spent a week in this really gorgeous luxury cottage. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, homely and inviting. Great attention to detail - everything that we needed was there. Such a peaceful setting - it was lovely to wake up to hear the birds singing. We were very impressed with the town of Morpeth. Very clean, well furnished, comfortable and warm. Beds were so comfy. It was a little gem in the centre of Morpeth town. Yet quiet and very peaceful. Owner was extremely helpful and we loved the graze box left for us! Delicious. Even though parking was a little away from the cottage it was not a problem at all. Would strongly recommend it.

Beautiful cottage. Well appointed with all mod cons and conveniences. The graze goodies as well as the wine were exceptional. Couldnt wait to get the kids to bed, put on Netflix, get out the charcuterie boards and light the fire. We will return as sr I much to see and do in Northumberland

Nice, pretty cottage with lovely garden aspect (but only useable until 9pm). Well equipped particularly in the kitchen. Good location in centre of Morpeth however the access for parking through the narrow archway is very tight for a small car and the nearest long stay carpark is 450 yards approx. across the main road in Morpeth.
