A perfect spot for a holiday on the Welsh coast, near Snowdonia National Park. Stay in this unique and quirky romantic retreat in Llwyngwril village. Bring the pup along and explore this wonderful area.

In the vicinity of this quaint property, there are countless footpaths to explore, as well as a rocky beach. Enjoy culinary delights, independent shops and a host of attractions in and around the area. Take a gentle stroll on said beach, join the coastal path or climb Cadair Idris (13.5 miles) in Snowdonia National Park. Enjoy the wildlife and waters of the estuaries at Mawddach (11 miles) and Dyfi (14.5 miles), board the steam train on the Talyllyn narrow-gauge historic railway (9 miles), go underground and explore in the Corris slate mines (17 miles) or relax on Fairbourne’s sandy beach (3 miles). Visit renowned Portmeirion Village Gardens (34 miles), the Ynys-Hir RSPB reserve (26 miles), or the pretty waterfall at Dolgoch Falls (10 miles). Nearby Aberdovey (12 miles) offers a championship golf course, water sport activities from the harbour, as well as shops, galleries and eateries.

This quirky cottage nestled just inland from the coast is full of character with wooden floors and a feature fireplace. The whole property is flooded with natural light due to the sky lights. There’s an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner for when you decide to eat in; the kitchen having been creatively designed to include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and all the thoughtful little extras you’ll need to cook a wonderful romantic meal. The rustic dining table is perfectly positioned by the window to enjoy a meal and plan your activities. After a full day out step up into the lounge and onto the comfy reclining sofa to snuggle up and watch TV, and on a cooler evening, you can enjoy the warmth of the wood-burner. There is a stylish wet room with a shower and WC and when you are ready for bed, head off to the double bedroom and enjoy a good night’s sleep.

Outside you will find a multi-level garden with slate paths and steps up to viewing areas where you can relish in sea views over the village and try to spot the local wildlife. On the top level enjoy morning coffee on the table and chairs, or al fresco dining with the charcoal BBQ and firepit - a perfect spot for sundowners with stunning views. After dropping off your luggage, drive 300 metres to the allocated private parking for one car, and if you are bringing your bikes there is a locking anchor in the garden with side access for ease of use.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
