A charming cottage located in the quiet village of Bradbourne, where pretty stone buildings line the streets against a backdrop of lush rolling countryide. The location is a walker's paradise, with numerous routes to embark on from the doorstep. Within 3 miles, Carsington Water offers something for everyone, with activities such as cycling and water sports to enjoy, and miles of picturesque waterside walks. The unforgettable Chatsworth House and Farmshop (16 miles), Hardwick Hall (23 miles) and Kedleston Hall (12 miles) are great for days out, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath (8.5 miles), Ashbourne (5.2 miles), Buxton (18.5 miles), and Bakewell (14 miles) all of which boast an array of independent shops and restaurants. Don’t forget to stop for a Bakewell pudding!

Step into the warm and welcoming kitchen which offers an electric oven and hob, wine fridge, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and microwave. Sit at the breakfast bar and keep your designated chef company, or watch the wall-mounted Smart TV. Head through to the cosy dining area where you can tuck into your meals while admiring the views of the countryside. The lounge is the perfect place to put your feet up after a day hiking the hills; curl up with a good book or switch on the Smart TV. Head upstairs where you will find a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom, which can be made into a twin upon request, and a twin zip-and-link bedroom, which can be made into super-king-size upon request. The family bathroom offers a rainfall shower, freestanding bath, and WC.

Outside there is plenty of space to relax with good company. There is a patio area with dining seating, perfect for eating alfresco on those balmy summer evenings. There is ample off-road parking.

A beautiful Cottage located In a really nice location with breathtaking views. The cottage had everything we needed and more! The kids loved playing outside in the front garden and it was really safe! Easy to get to and from and location around the Peak District, we had a beautiful stay at Bush cottage.

This is a beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The views from the windows are outstanding. A lovely cottage with everything you needed and more. We were greeted by David the owner who showed us how everything worked. We had lovely little extras for us including a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits which was a lovely touch. Loved the bath! Lovely modern and well appointed cottage. The owner was very friendly and helpful. In early May the underfloor heating kept the whole property at a comfortable temperature with no need to use the radiators. As another reviewer pointed out, the church bells strike every quarter hour throughout the night As the church is only three houses away this sRead morehould be considered if you are a light sleeper and it's warm enough to have the windows open. We enjoyed a lovely week. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and is in a beautiful setting. The kitchen is great for informal dining and relaxing. It was easy to get to many peak district towns and spectacular countryside from Bradbourne. The owner was helpful and easily available for any queries.

What a beautiful property! We booked for a week over Christmas to stay at the cottage and were greeted by David who was very welcoming and talked us through the essentials for the stay. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped and made cooking Christmas dinner very easy. Bush cottage is lovely and the kitchen is so well equipped. We enjoyed sitting at the breakfast bar and watching TV. The enclosed garden and drive were perfect for our dog and young children. Absolutely amazing cottage beautiful views. So welcoming with biscuits milk tea etc on arrival and a lovely bottle of wine in the wine fridge. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Lovely quiet village location. Internal decoration is modern in a traditional cottage, low ceilings! Reasonably equipped kitchen. We tend to cook when away so bring a few bits of our own. Garden is contained but be aware very low fence and gates, a larger dog or a jumper would soon be out. Beds were very comfy, better pillows would be a plus. A very well equipped Cottage, fantastic location with great views but near to attractions if wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bush Cottage. We had a lovely welcome package and greeting from David. The kitchen was well equipped making it easy to prepare meals from the cottage, meaning there was no need to go out for food everyday. My large dog enjoyed running around in the secure and spacious garden. The cottage was a lovely base and was cRead morelose to Carsington lake and Ashbourne town centre. Great cottage, good location for the Derbyshire Dales & Peak District, very well equipped, met the hoist, Dave couldnt have been more friendly, let us use his really large field for dog walking. Highly recommend

Beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Perfect base for walking in the Peaks and a lovely place to return to after a day out. The owner even left us a few treats on arrival which was a lovely touch. 100% recommend and would book again.
