Situated in the picturesque village of Rylstone, where local Women’s Institute was responsible for the famous charity calendar that later became a box office hit film 'Calendar Girls'. With beautiful scenery surrounding the area, it is a paradise for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The beautiful Dales' village of Grassington, situated on the river Wharfe, is close by, providing excellent walks and traditional pubs serving home-cooked meals. Just 5 miles away is the bustling town of Skipton with its medieval castle and multitude of quaint shops. For days out that all the family can enjoy, visit the Abbey ruins and Priory at Bolton Abbey, Thornton Hall Farm or the elegant spa town of Harrogate.

The main entrance is on ground level, head through and look forward to spending your evenings relaxing in this incredible living space, as you walk straight into the wonderful lounge/diner. With exposed stone walls and an impressive dining table at one end and comfortable sofas and cosy soft furnishings at the other, this room is the main hub of the house and the perfect place to spend quality time with all of the family. Take two steps up into the wonderful, bright kitchen, boasting vaulted ceilings and original beams. There is also a spacious breakfast bar where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast whilst planning the day's events. Any budding chefs will enjoy whipping up a home-cooked meal here as the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, including an electric double oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. Off the kitchen is a handy utility room with a washer/dryer and separate WC. To complete the ground floor is a games room/snug, boasting a children's pool table and Smart TV, perfect for catching up with your favourite shows. Heading upstairs to the first floor, the property offers four double bedrooms, all enjoying pretty beams and stylish decor. One of the bedrooms benefits from an en-suite with a shower and WC, and there are sloping ceilings and low beams in one of the other bedrooms. The family bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC completes the interior of the property.

Absolutely stunning property. We stayed for 4 nights over NYE and we cooked in every night, there was nothing that was missed the kitchen well-equipped to accommodate. Very clean, comfy, and well presented this property. It was like home from home and I'm definitely going back.

An amazing house that is perfect for a family get together. It is spacious and beautifully fitted out with everything you could need. The walks nearby including some excellent pubs were another highlight. The road is a bit noisy, but that didnt detract from the experience we had.

This cottage is absolutely stunning in a beautiful location. The instructions to find the property were easy to follow. The beds were very comfortable. A few issues we had were sorted out swiftly by the owner with excellent communication throughout.

Stunning Barn accommodation. Fully equipped with everything needed including BBQ and outdoor furniture. We walked to the nearby pub, The Angle and visited Grassington, Malham and Skipton. It was very handy having a bus stop so close to the Barn too! Sarah Rose was extremely helpful and very friendly. Thank you. We had a perfect family stay.

Lovely spacious property in a good location, well equipped and comfortable. Nice to be able to make use of the charcoal barbecue on the sunny June weekend we were there.

This house was great. Very well equipped and decorated throughout. It is in a good position to visit many attractions of North Yorkshire. Lovely paths to follow around the village. Games and pool room for children ideal. Easy commute to Skipton, which we love. There is noise from the road, but it actually not too bad.

Probably one of the prettiest barns we have stayed in. Beautifully appointed. Everything you could possibly need As it is just off a lay-by there is noise but the owners do not hide this fact - just be aware of it, but it certainly will not spoil your stay The walks are out of this world. The barn was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery and crockery. The beds were also very cosy and comfortable. However, due to the inability to heat the living room and bedrooms to keep us comfortably warm throughout the day and evening we had to leave a day early.

A lovely, spacious barn, nicely decorated and very clean. Good location for local areas and a nice pub a 20-25 minute walk away. The barn has everything youd need and comfortably fills 8 people I would say (we were a party of 6 and it was very comfortable). Lovely stonebuilt barn easily accessible for Skipton, Bolton Abbey etc. Quirky and spacious with the advantage of Lilly Barn next door if you're lucky enough to book both for an occassion.

This was a very lovely barn conversion, exceptionally well equipped. Ideal for visiting the Yorkshire dales. We were all blown away when first entering the property at the standard of furnishing and space available. More than enough room for 8 people staying, even there was only 6 of us but 3 different generations.

Lovely properties- we rented both barns. Worked beautifully for our large group of friends and kids. We all enjoyed the pool table and great hangout spaces in the kitchen and living/dining room.

Fantastic. A really lovely house that has been tastefully renovated - cannot fault any of the design. Beds were super comfy, showers hot and powerful and the communal areas were extremely spacious. The rear outdoor area gets the sun all of the day - perfect for a few drinks and a BBQ.

We stayed at Brooke Barn for our Grandmas 80th Birthday, for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived we loved everything about the barn and its location. It is decorated and equipped so well for any needs whilst staying. Lovely property, clean, warm, great location for visiting places like Skipton and Harrogate. Kitchen well stocked. Lovely toilets and bathrooms. The only negative for me was the lack of a secure area / garden for the dogs. Probably my fault for not reading the reviews properly. We would definitely go back though. Thanks

Wonderful cottage with excellent modern facilities and perfect location for our family of 7 adults and 2 dogs to visit sights in the Dales. Despite some other comments, we didn't find the noise from main road any problem. Worth noting that WiFi speed is low (<10Mbps) so not suited to working calls/multiple devices at once, but that's not a complainRead moret, just for awareness as out of owner's control.
