We had a lovely stay at the cottage. We travelled with our two small dogs and it was no problem at all. We had a leaking tap on arrival that was promptly dealt with the next morning. Amazing service. Everything was clean, neat and tidy and the facilities are all in good working order.

The view from the winter garden and garden is beautiful! We spent most of our time there relaxing - listening to the waves or just looking at the sea. There is lots to do in walking distance in St. Leonards and Hastings - we didnt use the car once during our stay.

A lovely apartment with stunning views. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The garden is enclosed which is good for dogs. We wouldve liked to have stayed another week we were so happy there. The owners have provided everything needed for an excellent stay. I would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lookout despite the storms!. Lovely spacious apartment with amazing views over the sea. However, it is a little tired (more shabby than chic). A few tweaks to make it up to 4* accommodation, but would happily stay again.

The Lookout was perfect for us. Needed the car to get to the beach for my elderly Mum but we had fabulous weather and we were more than happy to use the garden (with the sea view) most afternoons. No handrails going down to the decking area on uneven steps which may be a problem for some ( but handrails would spoil the view, so what do you do?)

At top of steep hill but hourly bus service 23 takes you to sea front. Parking restricted due to building contractors working opposite and parking spaces limited. The accommodation though was excellent

The location does what it says - its a fantastic lookout spot with a nice garden and decking area overlooking the sea. It is at the top of the west hill so might be hard for those with mobility issues , but for us it was wonderful - and we also took the coastal path from stleonards into Bexhill . A beautiful home with glorious views in a quiet area. There is an abundance of light, indoor and outdoor space. Even in the middle of a mild winter, we were out on the deck every evening for sundowners and then again later in the evening just to enjoy the sight and sound of the sea. We enjoyed a very peaceful stay.

Fantastic property. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend. The only negative thing and its my fault is when I saw the photo of the sea view I thought it was literally at the end of the garden. The cottage is well decorated and equipped. Nice that there were Xmas decorations. Lovely views. The sun room must be great in the summer but as its unheated was too cold to use when we visited. Secure garden for dog was a massive plus for us. Parking was an issue when packing and unpacking the carand carrying logs to the cottage.
