A wonderful little spot in the village of Grange. There was a lot of brilliant walking immediately outside of the front door! Keswick is just a fifteen minute car journey away. We found the home to be comfy and cosy and the hosts to be most welcoming.

The location is ideal for exploring Borrowdale. We started many of our walks from the front door of the cottage which suited the dog very much. She hates the car! The autumn colours were stunning and the weather kind to us. A lovely break.

Great location and could be a fantastic place to stay but needs comfortable settees, leaking chimney onto electric fire needs resolving and the bedding wasn't clean. Cottage also needs a deep clean as there was an underlying smell of dirty fabric and grease.
