When night falls, head up spiral, cottage-style stairs from the living area to find a double bedroom with an ornamental fireplace, and a twin bedroom, both with fabulous views over the countryside towards the fells.

We loved staying in this little cottage. The location was superb - it felt really peaceful and secluded, yet it was really easy to get to the local fells and further afield. Also I added a service dog to the stay but cottage was not suitable as my daughter and service dog wouldn't been able to use stairs as it would be unsafe.

Unfortunately the cottage was not the cleanest. Stains up the walls in the kitchen, stains on the quilt (which we only saw when stripping the bed on the last day), infestation of beetles in the bathroom and we couldnt use the draws as they smelt awful.
