A beautiful location with breathtaking views is approached via the 0.9 mile private farm track. This cottage was built in 1616 and a stay here feels like stepping back in time. Beautiful original features such as the oak stairs, exposed stone walls and wooden beams complement modern touches, with an authentic charm throughout. Through the front door, step into the open-plan living space, the heart of the house with a lovely warming woodburner that makes this an ideal place for gathering everyone together at the end of a busy day. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and plenty of storage space, and the large dining table allows for sociable mealtimes. The utility room has a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, and enough space for bike storage. Accessed directly from the outside, this room is very useful when you return wet and muddy from a day of fun. The ground floor bathroom has bath with shower over, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail. As the evening draws in, settle on the comfy sofas with the wood burner roaring, or perhaps settle in the nook by the window with a jigsaw or book. The bathroom completes the ground floor, whilst the original oak staircase leads to four bedrooms. There is one double bedroom with a hand basin, two twin bedrooms and one single bedroom with a further hand basin.
Outside is a grassy area with fantastic panoramic views. There is ample parking by the cottage.
