Enter this delightful home from home into the attractive dining room, perfect for gathering everyone for a hearty breakfast or a delicious dinner. In the summertime, the double front doors can be thrown open to create a light and airy dining area, while in winter a wood burner offers a cosy feel, perfect for a festive gathering. The open-plan living space comprises the kitchen and the sunroom creating a social hub in the heart of the house. The kitchen contains a split-level electric oven and hob, a tall fridge/freezer and plenty of clever storage. The adjoining utility room houses a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and serves as a boot and drying room and can be accessed directly from the outside where the wood store and outdoor WC are located. The sunroom has large gable windows that overlook the lawned garden towards the Blencathra mountain range. On chilly evenings, settle on the sofa with a DVD in front of the wood burner. There is a double bedroom, with a small TV, and a twin bedroom on the ground floor, each with a double wardrobe. A shower room with WC can also be found on this floor. Upstairs, the spacious and light living room makes the most of the views thanks to the two gable windows. Another lovely spot to relax, there is one three-seater sofa, one two-seater and a comfortable armchair, perfect for settling down with a good book or DVD. Two double bedrooms, each with built-in wardrobes, dressers and a small TV, have en-suite bathrooms, one with a shower over the bath.
Outside is a pleasant, lawned garden with ample rattan furniture, ideal for al fresco dining morning, noon and night. A lockable garage may be used by guests to store plenty of bikes, canoes, kayaks and any other outdoor equipment.
