Having self catered in the Lakes for nearly 30 years. This has to rate as one of the best we have stayed in. Full of character, ideal location, central for anywhere in the Lakes. As I said last year superb & well maintained property. The heights f the 3 beams in the downstairs area is the only big issue. Last year I cracked my head several times (I'm 5ft 10), this year I had 3 glancing blows. If you are just 5ft 6 then you are good to go, if you are taller than 6 ft bring a bike helmet!!
