Get away from it all with a trip to rural Coniston, enjoying a stay in this delectable apartment that’s just metres from the shore of Coniston Water.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a Lake District location more glorious than this one, with the impressive Coniston Water offering boat trips and unbeatable landscapes less than 500 metres from your doorstep. Simply step out and enjoy an abundance of walking routes on the surrounding estate and woodland or jump in the car to explore The Old Man of Coniston (8 miles) or Claife Heights (11 miles). The Cumbrian beauty spots of Windermere (14 miles) and Ambleside (13 miles) are similarly worth a trip out in the car, whilst Grizedale Forest (7.5 miles) is your go-to spot for thrilling adventure with its Go Ape! centre, hectares of woodland and foraging wildlife to spot.

Hidden amongst the trees in the owner’s private estate, this whitewashed property is a joy to behold from the moment you venture up the driveway. Enter through the shared entrance and step inside the private hallway to find plenty of space for hanging outdoor wear and an overflowing selection of DVDs to be enjoyed throughout your stay. From here you’ll find both a walk-in shower room with WC and a separate WC with stunning feature wallpaper. Off the hallway is the master bedroom, a space that perfectly suits a romantic getaway. Matching the highbrow design of any boutique hotel, this super-king-size room has been decorated with a four-poster bed and contemporary freestanding bath. Completing this space is an en-suite WC. Venture back into the hallway and head down to the open-plan living space. A bright and cheerful room with a fresh and clean interior puts socialising all in one handy space. To one side you have a generous kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer with water cooler and a washing machine/tumble dryer. The owners have also thoughtfully provided additional extra touches including an espresso machine, slow cooker, juicer and an abundance of cooking equipment. Along with a sturdy wooden dining table, this room also offers a stylish lounge with cushy L-shaped sofa, TV/DVD and Bluetooth music system, as well as plenty of games and books to keep you thoroughly entertained.

Step outside and enjoy acres of private woodlands and lawn space. Shared with the other properties on the estate, these gardens provide plenty of space to explore. You’ll also find a handy dog wash, shared between the two properties, as well as a balcony with a dining set for watching the world around you.
