This stylish bolthole is a welcoming haven to return to after long walks through the scenic countryside that surrounds the popular Lakeland village of Grasmere.
Located in the heart of Grasmere, there is plenty to see and do from the doorstep. Visit Dove Cottage, the former home of William Wordsworth, before popping into the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop to sample this famous teatime treat. Don your walking boots for a scenic stroll around the lake or head to nearby White Moss Woods, 1.5 miles away, to explore the mystical Rydal Caves. For a low-level walk, follow the historic Coffin Trail or head high to take on Helm Crag, 1.5 miles away, also known as the Lion and the Lamb. Meanwhile, 4.5 miles away, Ambleside is home to an array of pretty gift shops, cosy bars, popular restaurants and interesting galleries, together with three cinemas for those rainy afternoons.
Inside, this property has been tastefully finished in a chic industrial style with natural tones, slate flooring and cosy soft furnishings. The kitchen is light and traditional, with plenty of surface and storage space. Here you will find an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Once prepared, dine at the oak and steel table in the stylish lounge/dinner before firing up the wood burner and settling in for a cosy evening of TV or games with the family. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one king-size with a wrought-iron bed and one super-king-size with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beam, both of which have been finished in calming neutral tones. The bedrooms share a clean and bright tiled bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside, there is a shared courtyard with a patio area for outdoor dining with your four-legged friend. There is an allocated parking space for one car.
