This is a wonderful base for walkers, hikers, and nature lovers, with local destinations including Carl Side, Ullock Pike, Skiddaw and Longlands Fell (all within 7 miles). Heading south, the thriving market town of Keswick (4 miles) lies at the head of Derwentwater and has plenty of great restaurants, independent shops, friendly pubs and popular tourist attractions including the Theatre by the Lake, Derwent Pencil Museum, Puzzling Place, Keswick Adventure Centre and Castlerigg Stone Circle.
On entering this charming holiday cottage, you will find the bright and airy lounge/diner which provides a lovely space for you all to unwind in at the end of a wonderful day exploring the Lakes. Featuring comfortable seating, TV, a wood burner effect electric fire and original beams, the lounge is perfect for snuggling up with a good book or a favourite movie. The dining area is ideal for planning the day’s adventures or for sharing a family meal. The fully equipped kitchen has a range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. Upstairs, the first-floor features two light and attractive bedrooms. The pretty master bedroom offers a king-size bed, feature fireplace and far-reaching views.
