Attractive detached bungalow located in the much sought after village of Hope Cove, within walking distance to two beaches, Post Office, pub and restaurants

This property is situated in the wonderful old fishing village of Hope Cove, which boasts two beaches, both of which are within walking distance of the property. Some visitors may be content to spend their holiday in and around the village, but others may wish to make the most of all that the surrounding area has to offer, including the historic city of Plymouth and the resort towns of the English Riviera. Closer still, the town of Salcombe is just five miles away and offers a huge range of activities, including kayak and dinghy hire, a powerboat school, a gin distillery, and a range of shops and eateries.

This single-storey property has been lovingly styled and offers a wonderful place for a family getaway. On entering the property, guests will find the light-filled lounge diner, with its open fire, TV/DVD, hi-fi, comfortable seating and dining table seating six which enjoys a lovely bright position next to the patio doors, overlooking the garden. The kitchen is just next door and offers an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Three steps down from the lounge lead to the bright and sunny conservatory, where there is plenty of seating from which to enjoy the views over the garden. One of the bedrooms is accessed via the conservatory and down three steps, a pretty double room with en-suite shower and WC. The other two bedrooms are a king-size room and a double. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside is a lovely enclosed garden, which is mainly set to lawn, with a patio area close to the house where guests will find a table and chairs, sun loungers and a BBQ. There is off-road parking provided for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The property has 3 double bedrooms nicely furnished. The kitchen is small but adequate for a short stay. We found the cottage comfortable and roomy with the addition of the conservatory at the rear. There is a pleasant view of the garden, fields and to the right you can just see the sea. The property does have a steep driveway sloping down towards Read morethe house and steps also, which was not a problem for us but may be a consideration for some people. Hide

Well equipped bungalow with a nice garden & parking for at least two cars. Rooms are light & airy. Very comfortable throughout. An ideal location to use as a base for exploring the local area as there is lots to see & do.

As soon as we walked into the house at Hope Cove, we felt at home. The house was spotlessly clean, and beautifully appointed. A lovely vase of flowers on the table, and cake were a warm welcome. The house is in a quiet street, the only noise the birds and seagulls. We enjoyed the 5 minute picturesque walk down to Hope Cove, with the pub (great foodRead more, friendly service and local beer).
