Welcoming farm cottage with uninterrupted views of the fabulous coastline. Couples, friends and families will love relaxing, strolling on the beaches and exploring the major sights and attractions.

This is the first of three adjoining cottages set on a quiet, no-through road. You can enjoy plenty of sea views and spot a few cows and horses in the nearby fields, as well as tractors and real farming life. Walk or drive to the unspoiled beaches of Cocklawburn, Cheswick and Goswick for rock pooling, kite flying, or a picnic, or play golf to enjoy even more stunning scenery. Walkers and cyclists have a choice of coastal and inland trails for all levels, including the Sandstone Way. Drive into historic Berwick-upon-Tweed for its beach, the Lowry Trail, cobbled streets, and a good blend of independent and high street shops, pubs and restaurants, galleries, museums, and a theatre. Head to Holy Island or visit the iconic Bamburgh Castle.

Enter the cottage through the front door and into a small hall where you can leave outdoor clothing and walking boots. Head into the light and airy lounge with its large window offering views of the coastline and open countryside. There are two comfortable sofas where you can unwind after your days out discovering the area, and a warming wood burner adds to the ambience while you gaze at the view, read from a selection of books, play games, or watch the Smart TV. Moving to the kitchen/diner, you have everything you need to prepare tasty treats with an electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, a slimline dishwasher and a useful washer/dryer. You can sit at the dining table for your meals together. A door in the kitchen leads out to the side of the cottage. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor with a shower and WC. At bedtime, head upstairs to find both bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and open storage. Sit on the ottoman and take in those magnificent views. The second bedroom has two 2’ 6” zip-and-link single beds, ideal for children, or these can be made up as a king-size bed on request. The bright and spacious family bathroom comprises a shower cubicle and separate bath and there is a separate, adjoining WC.

Outside, there is a small, north-facing patio area at the rear of the cottage with views of the coast, and a private, south-facing walled garden 50 yards from the cottage available for guest use where you can sit with your morning coffees or an evening drink to enjoy those views. This has a summer house with bench-style seating outside and you can store your bikes/sports gear here if needed. There is roadside parking for two cars directly in front of the cottage. This is a quiet, no-through road, however, there may be visiting cars and some farm traffic.
